Leagues

Throughout the year there are many leagues our members, perspective members and the general public can participate in. All end with an Awards Ceremony and Banquet .

Sign up, participate, and establish your bragging rights. Who knows, your name may be the next to be added to our  “Wall  of Fame”

Winter 5 Stand/trap  - Held on Sunday mornings between 9:00 am  - noon. Held from January 7th through the end of June. (See Calendar for dates.)

Trap League. Summer Trap league to be annonced. Watch calendar for dates

Bowling Pin League. Held on Sunday mornings starting at 9 am on the 25 yard range. (See Calendar for dates.) Plan to arrive at 8:30 to register.

Archery – There is a 15 target range along the pond side of the property.

Pellet  -  Both pellet pistol and rifle leagues are held inside the main club house starting in the fall. Leagues are held on Thursday nights throughout the winter months. A great way to pass some time and enjoy the fireplace both as you shoot and after. (See Calendar for dates.)

Pistol – Held on Wednesday evenings at the new 25 yard range. Two (2) leagues are held throughout the spring, summer and fall months. The Rim Fire league typically starts in April and ends in June. This is followed by the Center Fire league typically starting in July and ending in September. (See Calendar for dates.)

Rimfire Rifle -   The league will be a departure from traditional bulls-eye targets that I hope you will enjoy.  Each week will have different targets to challenge and improve your shooting skills.  The goal of this league is to have fun! The cost will be $5.00 per week and all you will need is a .22 rifle although a good scope is recommended. (see calendar for dates)

Skeet - Held on Tuesday evenings at the skeet range. With makeup days being held Thursday evenings or Saturday afternoons.  The Skeet League  starts in the spring and goes through the summer month(s).

22 Dualing tree - The 22 dueling tree league runs in September. (See calendar for dates)  on the 25 yard range starting at 9 am.  The format is similar to the bowling pin league with 4 rounds consisting of two shooters facing off to see who can swing the most plates to their opponents side.  This competition tends to move along quickly and generally we're done in 60 - 90 minutes depending on the number of participants.  Cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members. 

 

 

Note: -  It is not a requirement to join the league in order to participate.  Only  participants that join the league are eligible for the awards  and banquet.  The Range Officer  has the final say in the  assembly of squads  and firing line priority.  League participants may be given priority  in the  closing weeks of any league in order to determine  the  final finishing  order .  In all cases everyone present will be given an  opportunity to participate.
